Spirituality, Wealth and the Freedom to Choose
Before you go any further let me boil it down to the bare bones for you:

I know you’ve been told and may have even come to believe that that becoming wealthy is all about luck and connections.

That’s just not the whole truth! As someone famous once said;

Luck is where opportunity and preparation collide.

Yes, becoming wealthy does have a connections component; have you noticed that successful people like to hang out with other successful people? It makes sense that if you were making tons of dough, would you want to hang out with a bunch of people whining about how there’s not enough?  No!

The secret to creating lasting success and wealth is all about you finding and recognizing something I will refer to as your “Unique Value Set.”

Your Unique Value Set is the part of you that is worth way more than any X number of dollars an hour.

It’s the part of you that when you discover it will allow you to see opportunities that you would have previously been completely blind to. It’s the part of you that is already super qualified and doesn’t need another degree or certification in order to tap into an abundant flow of cash when you need it.

I know that you may have many false ideas and myths about money, wealth, and your access to it. Clearly, in today’s economic climate, it is of vast importance for you to discover keys and unlock the potential within you that you may never have known were there. Fairly obviously, the focus of this article is about money/wealth/abundance, how it works, and how you can have more of it.

Maybe you already have a very nice flow of wealth and general abundance…that’s great!  However, let me ask you as much as anyone else…what would your life be like at the next level? I mean let’s face it, at some point in time, no matter how much money you are earning, there’s a point when you realize that you are living in a comfort zone that may well have become a gilded cage, and you know you want to explore and experience life at the next level.

Complacency is the prison where those who worship the god of “it’s not that bad” live.

I know that many will tell you that money and wealth are not spiritual… I genuinely believe you can be wealthy and spiritual but there again you can be poor and spiritual. It’s simply a matter of which “Wealth Station” you are tuned into, what you are resonating to attract and repel. However, owning your power to choose to have either is not the same as settling for financial struggle because it’s some kind of a ‘good spiritual’ excuse for not getting off your butt and taking action.

By the way, if you think poor people are more spiritual, let me fill you in: I grew up in a ghetto where poverty was rife, and although there were some wonderful, loving, and even the occasional spiritual people around, the people who we might judge as being less than spiritual were definitely more in the majority.

Let me share with you:

It’s a lot harder to be connected to spirit when you’re running from the rent man.

Money is not evil. Money is neutral.  Money is not pure good.  Money is nothing without ‘us’ using it for whatever outcome we decide upon.

Nevertheless, isn’t it time you had enough of it in order to do what you need to do?
Let me ask you: Just as an example, how would your life be different if you had an extra $750 a month? What would that mean to your lifestyle? What would that mean to your family and the people you love? How would you feel about yourself with an extra $20,000 in your bank account? Now you may be reading this and you’re presently making $200,000 +, and $20,000 doesn’t seem too big to you.

Just stop for a moment and and ask yourself, what would your life be like with an extra 40% added to your annual income?

Oh, one more thing; if you’re feeling guilty or unspiritual for even thinking such thoughts, you might want to check your Bible and read about King Solomon, the richest king who ever lived. According to the Old Testament, God seemed to like him well enough.

Not owning our power to create and be in the abundant flow of funds because of some false spiritual pretense is a great way to abdicate personal responsibility. (But it’s still B.S)

Those who decide to step up and own their power, see personal and even collective responsibility as a spiritual act that allows them the freedom to become more of who they truly are. Any fool can be doubting and skeptical, only the courageous do what it takes in the face of what “they” say they shouldn’t.

Do you have what it takes to step up, own your power, and create the kind of wealth that sets an example of what success and wealth building is all about?

I look forward to reading your comments and feedback

Until next time live with the courage to claim your Unique Value Set and the abundance that goes with it.

With gratitude, Dõv…

Thank you for all your comments about the Inauguration, From a personal position this event was about what happened when I was a boy of 10 years old, as a man I’d never seen before touched my heart and soul.

April 1968 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s immortal speech known as the: “I have a dream” speech awakened a dream within my heart and soul. Nothing magically happened as a result, in fact what happened was the opposite of magic, I became focused, committed and began a life long journey to bring that dream to fruition.

When Dr. King’s “I have a dream” speech echoed out across the world it touched the hearts and minds of millions, not just in his nation, his time and his generation but those words have rippled out across time. That speech became the resonance of the butterfly effect that has in 2009 awakened a generation, a nation and potentially this planet.

Only through an opening of the mind can we enter into the vast expanse that is the open heart. Dov Baron

Within his speech Dr King shared the details of his dream and finished by saying:

And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last.

At the time of that speech there were those who said things like:

When pigs fly, that’s when a black man will be president.

Well my friends I have a few choice words for those people… Better take your umbrella because that ain’t no fat eagle and those flying pigs can be messy.

Dr. King said all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands…

On January 20th 2009 the United States of America made Barack Obama the 44th President of the US and that event took place because black men and women, white men and women, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, gays and straights, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, the very old and the just old enough came out to vote.

Yes, it’s true that not everyone voted for Obama and not everyone is delighted at him becoming president. However, let us consider this: Those who did vote for Obama did not just vote for Barack Obama the charismatic man, they did not just vote for a black man, they voted for a dream, a dream they feel in their hearts and souls that this country, this world can be and will be a better place, a place of equality!

Whether you voted for the man or not, on January 20th, you and I were the witnesses to history. That history is in my eyes the fulfillment of My hero Dr. King’s dream.

I have to admit that I am still politically cynical, there are those within Obama’s cabinet that I do not trust, as the evidence is they are not trust worthy. However, that does not get in the way of my belief in Dr.King’s and for that matter, Gandhi’s dream.

Having said that let us remember that dreams only become real when we wake up and go to work on making them real. To make any dream real there is a need to take personal responsibility. We all need to stop looking for someone else to fix “it”, (whatever it is) because…

inevitably those we place high on the pedestal are the same ones we tear off that pedestal screaming “false messiah”.

Please be clear, if you want someone to save you, your finances, your marriage, or anything else for that matter you better be always willing to do way more than they will.

Two words in action will change this world…

Personal Responsibility!

I pray through the work of Barack Obama, the change he ushers in and the personal responsibility of every human being that with our shoulder to the wheel we will be able to say we are: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last.

I look forward to your feedback. If you enjoyed this post or any other posts on this blog please feel free to tell our friends.

Live with courage, Dov…
