How people have you met since “the Secret” phenomenon who are bitching and moaning about how what they asked for just doesn’t show up?

Is that really true, or do they actually get exactly what they asked for and they can’t even see it?

Manifestation is not some magical process where the universe reads your mind and knows ‘what you really mean by that.”

Listen, you, me, no one, can manifest specifics with a general request.

Stay with me here because I really want you to have what it takes for you to have what you want to want you. Like I just said; no one, can manifest specifics with a general request, so you need to specifically know what it is that you want in every detail.

Once you have specifically outlined what it is that you want, then you can begin designing a plan to achieve it. In the words on one of my songs from the album “Resonantions” (available on iTunes) “Get Clear.”  Please pay attention here because I have a warning for you.  The ego-mind may have some challenges with your actually achieving that outcome and it may try to sabotage you by whispering stuff in your ear that will take you off target. So to make sure you stay on target I implore you to keep a success journal, ( like the one that comes with EFM Audio Tech) and monitor your progress.

DO NOT change what it is you are going for until you achieve it. That way you can acknowledge your success. I can’t over stress the importance of this. If you keep changing your desired outcome, how will you ever know when you achieve it? Make sense?

To achieve truly living in and from a place of abundance, what you desire cannot remain something you’d merely like….

How many times have you heard people watch someone do something say, “I’d really like to do that.” Then that same person walks away and you know as well as I do that they will never do anything about they say they’d “like to do.”

To bring whatever it is that you want into your life, you must develop an insatiable hunger for it.

That means, for a while, it’s all that matters. You vigilantly watch the ego-mind; you refuse to be taken off track. You know your direction and you will allow nothing to move you from it.  At that point, all obstacles are viewed as challenges to be overcome, with each one giving you a renewed sense of focus. You meet difficulties with the mindset that there’s always a way to overcome them, and moreover, you are committed to finding it. You approach, go through and attend to your outcome without the option of griping or complaining. You keep moving forward, you make it a “must” and as a result it will happen. Guaranteed!

That being said, the obvious question is “What do you want?”

For me, the process of getting absolutely clear brings about the one-mindedness I need to drive me toward my goals regardless of what may arise to block my path. The decision that comes from this single minded purpose then seems to fill me with a complete certainty and knowledge that I can't be stopped. But the clarity has to come first, which in turn then seems to bring a vigilant awareness of my thoughts that allows me to deal with and remove doubts quickly to retain my one-mindedness. (I've also experienced the reverse of this process to manifest exactly what I didn't want!! Fear is very strong indeed.) Thanks again Dov, for sharing your wisdom.

I get the feeling that what was written about (above, in the initial column) had more to do with "desiring something to the point where all obstacles/challenges actually seem more of an adventure, because of the thrill felt in maneuvering them/manipulating the situation to turn it in one's advantage... and that this, above all other things, just may be the way for instinct/higher self to let us know whether or not we are really on track or not.
  • Hey Jennifer,
You got it! It's the burning desire that makes obstacles into adventures. The truth is even if you are a truly gifted individual there will be obstacles, there will be things that will knock you on your ass and if you are not on fire with why you MUST DO THIS, whatever this is for you, you might as well pack it in and go looking for a nice job with a good pension. ( Oh yeh, they don't exist anymore)

    Thanx Jennifer...good stuff!

    Dear Profound Dov,

I asked you this same question may be one year or more ago..Dov, would you kindly give me or us an example of something you planned for, sticked to, had fears and doubts and sense of guilt about achieving, but then you achieved it? How did you go about manifesting this thing? How did you overcome your sense of doubt and worthlessness? How long did it take from you? What did you do, that if you would have done in a different way, would have resulted in you manifesting the same thing faster?

Again, profound Dov, I am not here to argue or to go on in circles or to exercise my jaw. I am done with that. Time and life are more precious than any thing else, and I know very well that whatever goes around comes around. So when I ask you this question, I would love to know a real life ontological experience that you have been through, and learn from you, and let others learn. A single real life experience or story impacts me more than a hundred million theoritical talks. And it goes without saying that the "stickness to goals" that you are emphasizing in your fabulous blog above will come very clear, very obvious and very alive if you would be kind enough to tell me and to tell us a true manifesting story of your experience. And I do know that you are more than kind enough...

By the way Dov, I love you....
  • Hey Bob, (maybe it's Bob?)

If you asked this same question a while ago and I didn't answer please forgive me and I'll do my best to do so now. Something I Planned for, stuck to, had doubts and fears and then achieved: Answer ANswer my book; "Don't Read This...You Ego Won't Like It!"
How did I overcome the doubt or lack of self worth about doing it?
For me it's all about contribution and so the question I had to ask myself was is my fear positively contributing to the raising of global consciousness. Has anyone received benefit from my sharing the knowledge I would put in this book? The answer was a resounding YES!
Next question I ask myself: Will anyone's consciousness be raised by my not creating this book? And again the answer was clear. I must do this!

How long did it take? That's a two fold answer...It took me 25 years of humming and harring about how I should do a book and telling myself a bunch of excuses of why I couldn't. Second level of answer: 6 WEEKS!

Once I made the decision to do it it was complete in just over 6 weeks, (400+ pages)

What did I do, that if I would have done in a different way, that may have resulted in my manifesting the book faster? Stop listening to all the excuses I had run for years!

As for your request for an answer to what you wrote in the second paragraph. I believe I have already answered that question in this reply. However, if not please let me know. What I will say is that for me using my EFM Audio Technology was essential to manifesting the outcome of the book.

    With gratitude

What do I want? To make my income doing what I love. I hope that blogging will be my way to do this.

Sometimes I think we do engage on hopeless quests - through kidding ourselves or believing inaccurate information. When we realise this I think we should quit. Perseverance isn't the whole story in my view.
  • Thank for your input Evan,

Yes I do think that some people engage in hopeless quests, and kidding ones self about the fact is at best foolish. That being said, who am I to judge another persons quest as a foolish one? Maybe I do not have this persons vision or passion for what they are doing. The truth is that for as long as humanity has been around someone has made a success of something that others have calling foolish. The bottom line is: Discernment plus passion will always take you further than skepticism and mediocrity.

    With gratitude, Dov...
