<description>I had the pleasure of being a volunteer for Dov Baron's Deep programs 2 years ago. The audience mostly was comprised of young adults and a lot of people younger than myself. Let me tell you what a profound impact this program had on me. There was enough pain in the room for 3 days in a row to last a lifetime. All these courageous people were working through their pain.... pain that had been suppressed for years and had just discovered a way out. Dov, with great care, compassion and guidance, was able to give his undivided attention to each suffering person individually. I learnt in this seminar that courage is subjective and that "vulnerability" is not a sign of weakness but rather one of courage. I am a mother and to see so much pain and suffering around me, I could not help but realize how in my own conditioning, I had failed to see how much pain I had unintentionally caused my own daughter. I connected with her pain as I had never in my life done before. As soon as I got home, I called my daughter(who is studying abroad) and apologized for not "feeling and connecting " with her pain at the time when she needed that compassion from me. My daughter, who is my best friend today, thanked me and told me that she understood my heart was in the right place at that time but my call that day meant so much to her and she appreciates it very much. Dov Baron, thank you for helping me with this realization...I was impacted so deeply...I can just imagine what kind of a profound effect the Deep program will have on the new participant. It will change many lives for sure and relationships will thrive as mine did. Thank you Dov
